el cabo asked: As a Hillary dem now turned McCain supporter it just sounded like a warmed over version of the same stuff he has been saying all along. Nor was I very impressed with his ever thin resume essentially as a social worker on Chicago’s Southside or his sudden realization that his mother and his grandparents were the only supportive elements in his youth> I was looking for something of substance. Did I miss that something? Did others hear it in the speech?

Jennifer asked: Case in point: Charles Gibson asking her about the “Bush Doctrine.”
There is NO SUCH THING as the “Bush Doctrine.”
It’s bad enough when a supposedly professional journalist asks questions that belong on a high-school social-studies test — not a serious interview.
It’s even worse when those questions involve things that simply do NOT EXIST.
